Five minutes’ drive (or a ten-minute cycle courtesy of the hotel’s retro bike hire) from the centre of Port Douglas, the Oaks Port Douglas Resort offers the perfect spot to relax, see the sights and indulge in some local shopping. The large lagoon pool is a hub of the hotel, surrounded by plenty of white sun loungers. There’s also a spa, gym with lap pool and two tennis courts.
For dining, the resort offers two enticing areas to choose from; Oak and Vine is a semi-alfresco dining area surrounded by pond waters homing an abundance of beautiful wild life, flora and fauna, featuring the likes of wood-fired pizzas, fresh seafood and spicy Asian dishes.
